چکیده
A framework is described for predicting the airborne noise inside railway vehicles which applied to rolling sources. Statistical energy analysis (SEA) used predict interior by subdividing train cabin into several subsystems. The dissipation loss factors are obtained from measured reverberation time in cabin. power input SEA model external sources multiplying incident sound on surfaces with transmission coefficients of floor and sidewalls. calculated using an equivalent source wheels track together region below floor. sides a waveguide boundary element (2.5D BE) method. procedure Spanish metro vehicle running open field main source. verified measurements pressure beneath carriage, sidewalls vehicle. sensitivity results changes absorption also studied, including effect passengers.

Spatial modelling of railway noise propagation
In recent decades, population growth and progress of technology have shaped large and compact urban settlements. Existence of huge transportation systems and developed urban infrastructures are among the most important properties of modern cities. In spite of prompt transit and facilitated daily activities, development of transportation systems causes many problems, including traffic, air and n...
متن کاملA Study to Predict the Development of Wear for the Wheel/interface of a Railway Track
The train transport is often confronted with greatly repeated changes in scope, vehicle travel well-being and transport safety because of the adjustments of wheel and rail profiles. These problems are frustrating and threatening. Thus, there is a requirement for an approach to predicting the wear of wheel/rail to tackle these problems. A new theoretical ground is broken through the build-up a m...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

This study examines the effect of road and railway noise on property prices. It uses the hedonic regression technique on a Swedish data set that contains information about both road and railway noise for each property, and finds that road noise has a larger negative impact on the property prices than railway noise. This is in line with the evidence from the acoustical literature which has shown...
متن کاملfrom linguistics to literature: a linguistic approach to the study of linguistic deviations in the turkish divan of shahriar
chapter i provides an overview of structural linguistics and touches upon the saussurean dichotomies with the final goal of exploring their relevance to the stylistic studies of literature. to provide evidence for the singificance of the study, chapter ii deals with the controversial issue of linguistics and literature, and presents opposing views which, at the same time, have been central to t...
